The original crocked report was a regular post but since it is now archived I’ve decided to ad our injury report as a regular page to updated on a frequent basis. All information is taken directly from the Arsenal.com site. The current update is as of 31 August 2010.
Aaron Ramsey (broken leg) reported: 12 August
Aaron suffered a broken leg against Stoke City in February and could return to action in November, according to Arsene Wenger. “We have Ramsey who is coming back in November now,” he told TV Online on Thursday, August 12
Emmanuel Frimpong (Cruciate knee ligament) reported: 19 August
Emmanuel injured his cruciate knee ligaments in training ahead of the Blackpool match. He is expect to be out for between six and nine months. “He has done his cruciate in training,” Arsene Wenger to Arsenal TV Online. “That is a massive blow. A cartilage is three to four weeks but a cruciate like that one Frimpong did yesterday is six to nine months. “I rate him highly and I still have a lot of faith in him but we will miss him for six to nine months.”
Nicklas Bendtner (groin) reported: 26 August
Bendtner has a groin injury and is expected to be back by the end of September. “[He will be back in] three to four weeks,” said Wenger on August 26.
Robin Van Persie (ankle) reported: 30 August
Robin van Persie suffered an ankle injury during Saturday’s win over Blackburn. Speaking immediately after the match Arsene Wenger said: “He twisted his ankle and the first news is 10 days.”
Denilson (abdominal) reported: 31 August
Denilson’s abdominal injury meant he missed the games against Liverpool and Blackpool. Ahead of the trip to Blackburn Wenger had declared Denilson fit, however he did not make the match squad.
Samir Nasri (knee) reported: 31 August
Samir had minor surgery on his knee on Wednesday, August 18 following a meniscal injury sustained during the match against Liverpool. He is expected to be out for one month.
