With the penultimate international break of 2021 now chalked off, attention now turns to a big run of fixtures for the Gunners, who have won three, lost three and drawn one of their seven games played so far this term.

Back to back home games against Crystal Palace and Aston Villa are followed by another home fixture – this time in the Carabao Cup, where they take on Leeds United. A trip to Leicester City looks to be the most difficult of the bunch, before they play Watford at home – the final game before the November international break.

Not having European commitments during the season is unchartered territory for Arsenal in recent years, with previous manager Arsene Wenger priding himself on providing Champions League or Europa League football for the paying punters at the Emirates.

With only domestic football on the agenda this season, Arsenal will be doing all they can to climb the table, be competing in Europe next season and potentially adding to their significant trophy collection.

Is Mikel Arteta the man for the job?

Despite the significant upturn in form recently form Arsenal, there is still a percentile of Arsenal fans and the wider footballing fraternity that are questioning Mikel Arteta’s suitability for the job.

The Spaniard is clearly in the process of a transitional phase at the Emirates Stadium but with recent results warranting the Premier League Manager of the Month award for September, he appears to be turning the corner.

However, at £19.00 with Bet365 bonus to be the next manager in the Premier League to lose his job, his reputation clearly hasn’t been fully solidified, and he will be eager to prove any doubters wrong over the next few games.

What do we think of Tottenham?

The rivalry between the Gunners and Tottenham is as fierce as ever and once again it appears that the two sides will be in a battle for supremacy in North London this term.

Both sides have already enjoyed serious highs this season, alongside some desperate lows and it is the Gunners who currently have bragging rights in North London – following their comfortable 3-1 win over their arch enemy in September.

With only two points and three places to split the two sides in the table currently, the race to finish higher in the table promises to go down to the wire.

Arsenal are currently £1.9 with Uni Bet to finish higher in the table than Tottenham come the end of the 2021/22 campaign.

Goals, Goals, Goals

In recent weeks the upturn in Arsenal’s form has coincided with a more frugal defensive line and a potent attacking threat.

Mikel Arteta has a clear identity with which he wants his Arsenal side to play and getting the ball down and being patient in attacking areas is key.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is a proven goal scorer at Premier League level and once again he will be carrying the can in terms of putting the goal in the back of the net.

The Gabonese striker has netted twice this term and is as much as £40.00 with Bet Victor to go on to win the Premier League Golden Boot.

Closer to home, Aubameyang is a safer £1.45 to be Arsenal’s top scorer this season, whilst out of favour Frenchman Alexandre Lacazette is £4.50 to score the most goals in the Premier League for Arsenal this season.

Elsewhere, precocious English talent Bukayo Saka is £9.50 to really come of age in front of goal this season, with £70 million man Nicolas Pepe an unlikely £17.50 to be Arsenal’s key man this term.
