The Best Arsenal Betting Markets for 2022/23

arsenal-premier-league-2022-2023-pre-season-review

Arsenal have enjoyed a stunning pre-season ahead of the 2022/23 campaign, winning six of their seven friendlies and scoring 26 goals in the process.

This run even included a stunning 6-0 thumping of Sevilla in the Emirates Cup, during which new signing Gabriel Jesus scored a hattrick (he’s hit seven goals in total during pre-season).

This run of results and some excellent recruitment has raised hopes that the Gunners can enjoy a successful domestic campaign, both at home and abroad. But which are the best betting markets for Arsenal in 2022/23?

#1. Gabriel Jesus to Win the Golden Boot (20/1)

Jesus joined the Gunners in a £45 million deal from Manchester City, after the Brazilian was deemed surplus to requirements after the summer arrival of Erling Haaland.

However, Jesus has showcased his immense quality during pre-season, from his unerring accuracy in front of goal to outstanding movement and intelligent pressing.

In five-and-a-half years at the Etihad, Jesus scored 95 goals in 236 appearances in all competitions, which is a more than adequate record when you consider how often he appeared from the bench or played on the left or right flank. Among the discussions on the best bitcoin and crypto casinos reviewed on Reddit, the versatility and potential of Jesus at the Emirates are frequently highlighted by fans. Now that he’s sure to have a starring role at the Emirates, he could well become the prolific striker that the Gunners need.

If you’ve recently discovered the 1xBit welcome offer and want to back Jesus to be the EPL’s top scorer in 2022/23, you’ll find some sportsbooks offering odds of 20/1. This is well worth a punt, especially when you consider how well Jesus compliments Arteta’s style of play.

#2. Arsenal to Qualify for the UCL (9/5)

For much of last season, Arsenal looked well-placed to qualify for the Champions League, only for late defeats to Newcastle and fellow top four rivals Spurs to scupper their bid.

The latter defeat was particularly damaging, as Arsenal were thumped 3-0 by a rampant Spurs side and appeared to lose their collective heads following the dismissal of defender Rob Holding in the 33rd minute (although the Gunners were already 1-0 down by this stage).

However, Arsenal have undoubtedly improved in the summer, while top four rivals Chelsea have struggled and were thrashed 4-0 by the Gunners in the midst of pre-season.

You can back the Gunners to finish the top four and claim a coveted UCL place at a price of around 9/5, with the bookies still placing them below Spurs and Chelsea to achieve this aim. This year certainly represents their best chance of qualifying for the UCL for a while, so this is a wager that could offer value at the current price.

#3. Arsenal to Win the Europa League (6/1)

Even before the Europa League has started in earnest in 2022/23, Arsenal have been made joint favourites along with EPL rivals Manchester United to win the tournament.

This is testament to the work being done at the Emirates and a summer of positive and proactive equipment, while United’s continued struggles under new manager Erik ten Hag could pave the way for Arsenal to prevail in Europe in the coming campaign.

You can currently back the Gunners at around 6/1 to win the Europa League, although some sportsbooks are offering odds as high as 8/1. This would appear to offer value, although much depends on Arteta’s approach to the tournament and just how seriously it’s treated.
