Only two Arsenal stars feature in the top 100 FIFA 21 ratings
With fans eagerly anticipating the latest instalment of the FIFA game series, there will be a number of Arsenal fans that will be keen to see where some of their stars rank and compare to some of the other individuals within the game, especially as things look to be on the up for the north London club.
Indeed, FIFA 21 will generate a huge buzz and excitement around its release – perhaps much in the same way that bettors have when using esportbetting.net – although there might be some disappointing with the current confirmed rankings to have already been announced.
The game franchise has seen the top 100 players within the game have their player cards released, detailing all the important stats that the individual is judged upon before an overall rating is handed to them out of 99.
Arsenal have had just two of their stars feature in the top 100, though, which might be slightly disappointing for fans of the Gunners, as they would have hoped some of their other stars would have joined the party.
Of course, there is always a debate to ensue when FIFA release their player ratings each season, and this year’s edition will certainly be no different.
Nonetheless, who are the two players to have made it into the game’s 100 top players?
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang – 87 Overall
Unsurprsingly, Arsenal’s talisman is ranked the best player for the Gunners. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang only received a rating of 87, though, which is worse than his 88 overall rating from last season’s game.
The Gabon international – who finally signed that new contract after what felt like an age – had a great goal return last season, having scored 22 goals in the Premier League and finishing second in the goalscoring charts – just behind Leicester City’s Jamie Vardy.
This is a rating that will definitely be contested and one FIFA might need to reconsider.
Bernd Leno – 85 Overall
The only other Arsenal player to appear in the top 100 players on the FIFA 21 video game series is Bernd Leno. Indeed, the German international has certainly seen his stock rise since joining the Emirates Stadium outfit and has become a crucial member of the team.
Mikel Arteta would have probably been cursing his luck when Leno was injured at the beginning of Project Restart, however he will have had a tough decision to make this summer when deciding between the German and Emiliano Martinez.
Nonetheless, Leno has kept the number one shirt and remains firmly as Arteta’s first choice following Martinez’s departure to Aston Villa just a short time ago. Leno is considered to the fifth-best ‘keeper in the Premier League (based on his 85 rating), whilst also the 14th best shot-stopper in the game.
