Odegaard and Kolasinac transfer updates emerge in reports

Arsenal may have been able to add a couple of names to their squad ahead of the 2021/22 Premier League season, but with the transfer window still open, could there be more movement at the Emirates Stadium?

Mikel Arteta has already managed to bolster his squad with exciting acquisitions including Albert Sambi Lokonga, Nuno Tavares and Ben White, which should make an immediate difference and improve the team immensely following last season’s disappointing showings.

Of course, there are still a number of rumours floating around surrounding potential incomings and one name that appears to have returned recently is Martin Odegaard’s. The Norwegian playmaker had a rather successful time at the Emirates Stadium during his brief stint with the club and there have been some of the faithful that would not mind seeing him back in the red and white jersey.

Indeed, the latest reports from Spain suggest that could happen, should Arsenal be prepared to pay the price that has been allegedly set by Real Madrid.

It is claimed by ABC that the La Liga giants want a fee of €50 million for the 22-year-old, with Florentino Perez said to be demanding that the club’s valuation be met, otherwise there is no chance of a deal happening.

Odegaard is said to have become frustrated upon his return to the Spanish capital as Carlo Ancelotti has revealed he would not be able to guarantee the minutes he wants, whereas Arteta could.

Whether Arsenal would be prepared to pay that fee is debatable, but we’ve seen them spend £50 million on Ben White, so who knows. Perhaps if they decide to use a bitcoin casino available at allvideoslots, then they will be in a position to pay the money being demanded by Los Blancos?

The Gunners have also been active in allowing players to leave this summer, with reports suggesting that they are prepared to let Sead Kolasinac leave the club for just £6 million.

The Daily Express have claimed that the Bosnia & Herzegovina international will be available for the small fee, as the club seemingly do not have a requirement for him. The 28-year-old was shipped out to Schalke 04 for the second half of the previous season, but following their relegation from the Bundesliga, it was always unlikely that he would be moving to them permanently.

He played a bit-part for Arsenal at the beginning of the 20/21 season, although he only played once in the Premier League, perhaps highlighting just how far he is out of Arteta’s plans. Kolasinac also played some of the friendly against Chelsea on Sunday but did very little to leave a positive impression.
