Here are the top Arsenal players so far this season, with new recruits in the team hoping to impress the coach and old players hoping to keep their spots in the starting lineup.

Gabriel Jesus

Gabriel Jesus, one of the better signings for the London club in recent years, quickly adjusted to Arsenal’s playing style and did a great job of serving as the focal point of Arsenal’s attack. He joined Manchester City in 2017, but after seeing limited action there, he decided to move on to Arsenal to take on a new challenge. He has played in seven Premier League games thus far, contributing three assists and four goals.

Gabriel Magalhaes

Gabriel is among the top Arsenal players thus far in the 2022–23 season, with a successful dribbling rate of 100 percent. Gabriel has demonstrated in the 2021/22 season that he can attack in conjunction with his defensive skills. In addition to an 85 percent success rate in successful tackles, he has a 91 percent passing accuracy. He has also scored one goal for the Gunners this season.

Granit Xhaka

The Swiss midfielder has performed admirably for Arsenal thus far this season, establishing himself as a major force in the team’s midfield and carrying out his duties as a defensive midfielder. For Arsenal this season, he has made 5 out of 8 tackles successfully and has an 86 percent passing accuracy. In seven league appearances, he has also given three assists and scored one goal.

William Saliba

Saliba has made a big impression since getting his chance at Premier League side Arsenal, displaying his defensive abilities. He has won every tackle he has made in the Premier League thus far (10 out of 10), and he has a 93 percent pass completion rate ( completed 427 passes out of 458). In addition to his defensive skills, he has been effective offensively as well, scoring twice and providing an assist.

Bukayo Saka

The Arsenal and England midfielder Saka has carried on his form from the 2021/22 season, and is also performing in the new season. Saka who scored 11 goals and provided seven assists in the 2021/22 season, was one of their major players in the squad. This season he continues the role in the starting lineup as a creator and goalscorer. Despite scoring only one goal so far this season, Saka has provided four assists in seven games.
