They’re Back – the 2015 YAMA Awards for Arsenal Supporter Social Media

They’re back! That’s right the original Arsenal-related Social Media awards are back after a 2 year hiatus. We kicked the awards off in 2012 as an effort to recognize the good, the bad, the ugly and sometimes hysterical that comes with Arsenal Supporter-Driven Social Media. While many have followed our model, we decided it was time to come back with the original.

We’re opening up with a nominating process to that starts from today and closes on June 15.   The nominating process is simple. Nominate your favorites for the following categories:

Best Arsenal Blog
Best Arsenal Blogger
Best NEW Arsenal Blog
Best Arsenal Podcast
Best Journalist (who is a good outlet for news on Arsenal)
Best Tweeter
Best (and most balanced) Opinion Writer. (This includes bloggers and tweeters)
Best Video Editor
Best Graphics Designer

Simply tweet your nomination to hastag #YAMAS15 to nominate your favorite for each category. AND don’t let our categories limit you – if you think of a good one and we like it – we’ll use it!!

We may not all agree with everyone on social media. We may think some people are just plain bonkers but Arsenal Social Media is a force unto itself there are some great sites, accounts and all sorts of sundry out there that should be recognized.

Founder, editor, writer, designer of YouAreMyArsenal.com. When he’s not following the Arsenal,he’s busy coaching various age groups the right way to play the beautiful game I am neurotic. Well, Arsenal tends to do that to you and due to this maddening love affair I have with this team across the sea, I rise and fall like everyday (given our current state some times more than 5 times a day.) I love this team and hope it comes through even slightly with this blog. If I am not here blogging away, I am either working or writing coaching sessions. All in all, I'm loving it. UTA!
