Arsenal’s Brazilian striker Gabriel Jesus has shown that he is worth every penny since arriving during the summer transfer window. Already, he has helped spark Arsenal’s attack alongside Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka.

According to Premier League data, Gabriel Jesus is among the top assist makers of the Premier League 2022/2023 season, with six assists. He’s also created 26 chances and ranks number 3 in this category.

In the World Cup Championship, Jesus has been the backup for Brazil. He could be getting ready to debut for Tite’s team against Cameroon in their final Group G match. Richarlison of Tottenham has been chosen over Jesus to begin as Brazil’s No. 9 in the competition.

Jesus has asked supporters to Google Brazilian and Manchester United midfielder Casemiro to see that the player is more than a destructive force. As the Arsenal striker ignored colleagues Granit Xhaka, Martin Odegaard, and Thomas Partey in favour of former Manchester City teammate Fernandinho, Jesus refrained from declaring the United player the finest midfielder in football.

“I don’t know if Casemiro’s record was examined in England before he entered the Premier League 2022/2023 season, but I kept track of him for years at Real Madrid and knew how many goals he achieved in the Champions League,” the Brazil international remarked.

“He went there and did really well. I included Fernandinho on the list of good midfielders I’ve played with.”

Brazil defeated Switzerland with one game left to advance to the World Cup Championship round of 16 by winning, thanks to Casemiro’s game-winning goal. But I have spent much time with Casemiro, and he is just a phenomenal player, Jesus continued. “Some people don’t appreciate him very much because they don’t comprehend it. However, I do because I’ve known him for a long time and appreciate his talent.”

After spending a good time with Real Madrid in the Spanish capital, Casemiro departed Real Madrid in the summer to join United. Because of his talent and demeanour, Jesus continued, “He [Casemiro] will unquestionably be an excellent addition to United.

He said that other members of the Brazilian team also help each other. “There are Neymar, Danilo, Thiago Silva, and even a little piece of myself because I’ve been here for a while.”

Final Thoughts

Gabriel Jesus has been catching much flak lately after he appeared to snub his Arsenal teammates in favour of praise from the Man United star.
